Fabregas is the last leading character standing [who was with FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano since 2015] to bid farewell from the series.
An article on ABS-CBN.com solicited from netizens whether they think General Delfin Borja, a.k.a. Lolo Delfin (Jaime Fabregas) is dead or not. It spawned witty remarks and praises for the show’s make-up artists.
Fabregas exited the show on Monday, July 11, which saw the concurrent live viewers of the series on Kapamilya Online Live peaked at more than 350,000.
On Twitter, netizens could not help but make hilarious comments on the news article and commended the show’s make-up artists for giving Fabregas a convincing death scene look.
“Hindi nyo pa papatayin si lolo delfin sa lagay na yan (You’re still hesitating to kill him off the script, in that state?)” asked @talkingtummy who seemed sarcastic with his tone. His tweet featured a screenshot of the ABS-CBN article, which showed Lolo Delfin’s nearly unidentifiable body.

Adrian had a good joke about what he thought Lolo Delfin’s gory appearance actually looked like. “Hindi yan, parang kagat langgam lang yan (That’s nothing. it’s just ant bites),” he said.

Dalai Lama, a concerned netizen, meanwhile called out ABS-CBN News for using such graphic image as its thumbnail for its post.
“Wth is that. Yung sa mga news nga they have to put a monochrome filter kapag may mga pinapakitang ganyan e. Bakit ito okay lang? Totoo nga yung mas comfortable pa tayong makakita ng violence on tv than sex. Fuck that pnp propaganda bullshit show.
(It’s been a practice to put a monochrome filter for news items that feature such a graphic image. Why is this okay? Is it true that we’ve just gotten more comfortable seeing violence on TV than sex?),” he wrote.

Cornholio had second thoughts about whether or not Lolo Delfin was dead.
“Gagu wait sure kayo di totoong bangkay yan??? Hahahaha (Are you sure that is not yet a corpse?)” he asked in a tweet.

Jaime Fabregas, along with Coco Martin, was with the six-year-old primetime series, since it premiered on September 28, 2015. His character, General Borja is highly responsible for honing Cardo Dalisay as an exemplary policeman.
