On July 11, McCoy De Leon said sorry to Viva’s head Vic Del Rosario for refusing some projects from the entertainment company.
At the story conference of their upcoming movie Deleter, De Leon said he declined offers because he wanted to do projects that would make him happy as an artist.
He then asserted that he would show the audience a different McCoy through his role in the upcoming movie Deleter.
He also noted that he wants to make himself happy while entertaining Filipino viewers.
Ayaw ko naman ng ganon, kaya time naman for us to change, time naman for us to show something new naman.
As for their upcoming movie, Deleter stars Nadine Lustre, Louise Delos Reyes, and McCoy De Leon.
Deleter tells a story of a content moderator who starts having unexplained experiences after deleting a sensitive video of her co-worker.
The award-winning director Mikhail Red helms the production of Deleter. He worked on movies like Arisaka, Block-Z, Rekorder, and Birdshot.
