The Kapuso programs Magpakailanman and Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho, remain the top programs for Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
Based on the July 9 and July 10 survey of AGB Nielsen, GMA Network continues to dominate the weekend programming as all of the programs in the Top 5 are Kapuso shows.
On Saturday, the drama anthology Magpakailanman led the pack with a 12.5% rating. The Dingdong Dantes-Marian Rivera-starrer Jose and Maria’s Bonggang Villa followed suit, which earned 11.9%.
On the third spot earning 10.5% is the comedy sitcom Pepito Manaloto, which is now on its new season titled Tuloy Ang Kuwento. The Kapuso news program, 24 Oras Weekend, which airs on GMA Network and GTV earned 10.3% as it secured the 4th spot. Completing the Top 5 for Saturday is the docu-drama Imbestigador at 8.4% rating.
For the July 9 episode, Magpakailanman featured the Annabelle and Andoy Delposo Story titled, Kutob ng Sukob.
Its livestream on YouTube earned more than 100k views.
On Sunday, the informative show Amazing Earth ranked 5th with 6.8%. In the 4th spot is the fantasy drama Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko with 11.4%. 24 Oras Weekend climbed to the third spot with an improved rating of 12.0%. John Lloyd Cruz‘s Happy ToGetHer secured the #2 spot with 13.6%.
Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho topped Sunday’s rating chart with a 16.8% rating. It is also the most-watched weekend program as it surpassed Magpakailanman‘s score.
GMA Network reigns supreme in free TV as its programs continue to top and dominate the rating charts due to its wide-audience reach and less competitive environment in free TV since the exit of ABS-CBN.
