On July 11, Viva stars Louise Delos Reyes, Nadine Lustre, and McCoy De Leon revealed how they handle sensitive videos sent to them at the story conference of their upcoming movie, Deleter.
Louise confessed she received video links with sensitive content but chose not to click on them because of her vigilance against online scams.
“Hindi naman delete, pero hindi ko lang– hindi ko na kini-click ‘yung link. Kasi parang ngayon, ang dami ng kapag nag-click ka ng link, mada-direct ka sa bank account mo or kapag masyadong sketchy ‘yung link, hindi ko na kini-click.
“And most of the time, since marami rin akong kabarkadang lalaki, ‘yung mga sinensend nilang videos, iba ‘yung sound, kaya wag na lang natin buksan.”
Nadine said she does not receive sensitive videos because she keeps her personal Facebook account private.
“Ako naman po, I think wala pa naman ako na-experience na ganon just because ‘yung Facebook ko, private siya. And pili lang talaga ‘yung mga friends ko na nandoon, so so far wala pa naman ako nakikita na ganyan, but sana wag na mangyari, kasi just like what Louise said, hindi ko– parang ang hirap din kapag makakakita ka ng ganon, so I’d rather not click the link na lang or watch the video.”
McCoy confirmed receiving sensitive videos before but chose to delete them instead.
“Yes, ako po, ide-delete na lang kasi hindi mo na sasayangin ‘yung oras mo para mababasa man kung ano ‘yung pangit na nandoon eh. Kaya nga tayo may choice.”
Nadine, Louise, and McCoy star in the upcoming Viva movie Deleter. The three will be working with the award-winning director Mikhail Red who worked on Arisaka, Block-Z, Rekorder, and Birdshot.
