Lolit Solis is at Bea Alonzo again, [this time] named her as the best example for the controversial Anti-Ghosting Bill.
On June 30, Negros Oriental Rep. Arnolfo Teves Jr. filed House Bill 611 or the Act Declaring Ghosting as an Emotional Offense. The bill was referred to the Committee on Health on Tuesday, July 26, and caused a buzz on social media.
As one of the “Pambansang Marites.” veteran showbiz columnist Lolit Solis can’t help but talk about the topic.
In her Instagram post on Wednesday, July 27, Manay Lolit again alluded to Bea Alonzo and said she was the perfect example for the Anti-Ghosting Bill.
She said if ever the bill gets to be passed into law, every time there will be someone filing a case of ghosting, Bea Alonzo will always come to mind.

Meanwhile, she said that if ghosting becomes a legal offense, it will be unfair if the fault is attributed to one party, and said there might be valid reason[s] why someone would ghost a person.
She then used Alonzo as an example because of what happened to her relationship with Gerald Anderson.
Bye bye na pag no more love, huwag na ipilit.”
Ghosting became a hot topic on social media after Alonzo came out in 2019 saying her ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson ghosted her.
It was in July 2019 when Alonzo addressed rumors about her break-up with Anderson. The now-Kapuso actress, however, clarified that there was no formal break-up between her and Anderson. She claimed he ghosted her.
“Honestly, to my understanding, we did not break up. He just started not talking to me.”
