The Singmasters of the Sing Galing Kids–K Brosas, Randy Santiago, and Donita Nose ensured on Saturday, July 9, that their young contestants will be safe from any mental harm during the entirety of the competition.
In the Kiddiecon held at Vista Mall Taguig, Brosas revealed that the show has an in-house psychologist that examines the children before and during the contest.
“So bago pa man sumampa ang mga bata, kinakausap na nila. Kasi ‘di ba bata ‘yan eh, yung mind conditioned na kahit anong mangyari, manalo, matalo,” Brosas said.
A specific playground for them was also created, called ‘Arkidia,’ where they can release their stress and just have fun.
Santiago also pointed out that the ‘Arkidia’ is a huge reason why their competitors could avoid the pressure of the competition.
They also made sure that parents were there to support the kids.
Meanwhile, Nose became a “support system” for the contestants, encouraging them that entering the show already makes them “winners.”
“So kinakausap ko sila at the same time parang, ‘O galingan niyo ha?’
At the same time, win or lose, ang importante, naipakita niyo na may talent kayo.”
Brosas further stated that the bond between the contestants would also lessen the blow of defeat.
“Nasa iisang hotel lang kami, naka locked-in kami.
So wala nang masyadong iyakan.”
Meanwhile, Rey Valera, Ethel Booba, Gloc 9, Morissette, and Jona Viray are the judges of Sing Galing Kids.
