Alex Gonzaga and Arci Muñoz handled smoothly when an awkward situation brought up their old-flame Kean Cipriano.
In Lunch Out Loud’s (LOL) episode on July 18, Muñoz was the celebrity guest in the show’s “Maritest” segment.
The segment would give the player specific clues or hints about a person. The player needs to guess the person based on the clues pointed.
Muñoz got asked to guess the person who was the former lead singer of the Filipino band Callalily who went to focus on his solo career.
The correct answer was Kean Cipriano, but before Muñoz gave her answer, the hosts of LOL (Tropang LOL) poked fun at her and Gonzaga as both had a thing with Cipriano.
LOL host Alex Gonzaga redirected the question to Muñoz and noted that the actress knows the singer well.
“Kilalang-kilala ni Arci ‘yan. Hindi na niya kailangan ng Chikalalay,” said Alex.
Tropang LOL joked that Alex was blushing due to the question.
Muñoz then then said, “Kilala mo ito. Para sa ‘yo ‘to, ‘Lex.”
Eventually, Muñoz gave her answer, which was Kean Cipriano.
Gonzaga and Cipriano did not become a couple, but their ‘romantic ties’ were not a secret. They dated around December 2010 to September 2011. Alex and Kean were co-stars in the 2015 series Inday Bote.
Muñoz and Cipriano, on the other hand, dated around June 2009 to 2010. The two became an item but eventually broke up.
Currently, Kean is married to Kapuso star Chynna Ortaleza. The two got married in 2015 and had their first child in 2016.
