Kapuso executive clarifies the rumors on Sarah Geronimo’s transfer to the Kapuso network

In an interview with PEP on Monday, July 25, a GMA Network executive clarified they didn’t offer Sarah Geronimo to transfer to their Network.

Senior Vice President for GMA Entertainment Group Ms. Lilybeth G. Rasonable said was no negotiation between Viva and GMA Network about Geronimo.

“Ang tagal na din namin nadidinig ‘yan, but no. Wala kaming offer for Sarah G,” she said.

Initially, rumors surfaced that the Kapamilya singer and ‘ASAP’ mainstay’s management is already negotiating with the other network.

Geronimo’s comeback to ASAP Natin ‘To on Sunday, July 24, was a worldwide trending topic on Twitter. The hashtag #ASAPSG got widely used online.

She last appeared on the show in November 2020, a year or so ago.
