FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano beats GMA Network’s Bolera in TV ratings and takes the third spot on the leaderboards on July 13.
In the pilot week of GMA Network’s Lolong, the Top 3 spots on the leaderboards were dominated by Kapuso programs—24 Oras, Lolong, and Bolera.
Despite FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano‘s improving ratings, it remained in the fourth spot due to this powerful primetime line up of GMA Network.
However, the following week, the competition became more intense as FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano managed to overtake Bolera and penetrate the Top 3.
On July 12, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano settled in the 4th spot with 13.2%, only 1% behind Bolera.
The following day, the ratings of Bolera dropped to 13.1%, while FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano‘s rating improved to 13.9%, so it was able to secure the #3 spot.
But, Bolera was able to reclaim its spot on July 14 as it earned a 13.6% rating, while FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano fell short with 0.5%.
The competition for the third spot remained tough on July 15, where FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano again climbed up to the #3 spot with 13.0%, establishing a minimal gap against Bolera.
However, the week ended with the Top 3 still dominated by Kapuso shows as Bolera again took the lead with 11.5%, 0.4% more than FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano‘s rating.
The longest-running Kapamilya action-drama series once again proved its competency in ratings despite limited audience reach compared to GMA Network. However, it still struggles to maintain the third spot due to Bolera’s performance.
Can FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano fully claim the third spot soon or will Bolera sustain its current position?
