After logging its highest rating since the ABS-CBN shutdown on July 8, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano continued to beat its record on July 11 and July 12.
Since the exit of ABS-CBN from free TV in July 2020, the ratings of its shows have dropped. However, its longest-running series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano remains competitive and top-rated.
On July 8, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano recorded a 13.1% rating, its highest rating since its network’s shutdown. On the same day, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano also proved its online supremacy as its concurrent viewers on Kapamilya Online Live peaked at around 320,000.
FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano continued to improve as it beat its people rating on July 11 when it earned a 13.2% rating. It also achieved a record-breaking 350,373 live concurrent viewers on YouTube on the same day.
The next day, July 12, the record-high TV rating was surpassed again, where FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano earned a 13.9% rating and climbed up to the third spot, beating GMA Network’s Bolera that had 13.1%.
Considering these figures, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano is a force to be reckoned with.
It consistently dominates the online viewership race, establishing a huge lead in online views against Kapuso rivals.
On TV, it is also the only Kapamilya show that sustained its spot in the Top 5 of the leaderboards. Moreover, despite its limited reach, it still beats several GMA Network programs.
