The seven-year-old action drama series is officially ending its phenomenal run on Philippine television on July 12.
Few of the events during FPJAP’s spectacular seven-year reign on air happened.
These are: three Philipine presidents, two Summer Olympics, two Kathryn Bernardo-starred all-time highest grossing local films, the rise of DonBelle, the covid pandemic, and the ABS-CBN shutdown.

Truly, it’s an end of an era, but not of a phenomenon.
“It was indeed an end of a television era. Kakapanibago ang primetime na walang FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” tweeted @rojan88.

DJ Gabby highlighted the immense success and influence that the show generated in the past seven years. “Ang Probinsyano is ending in three weeks. We all joke about its never-ending plot, but we gotta admit that it became a huge part of the Filipino household’s routine. Kudos to the whole team. Honestly, it’s gonna be hard to top a teleserye with this popularity and success,” she said.
