Via tweet on Thursday, July 14, news broke Enrique Gil’s return to showbiz after a two-year hiatus.
Gil got spotted with ABS-CBN creatives and executives, including Star Magic and ABS-CBN’s TV production head Lauren Dyogi.

Gil’s mother, Bambi, was also present during the meeting.
No other details were disclosed about Gil’s new project.
Many netizens concluded that #ItsAboutDamnTime is a hint for his upcoming project.
Gil has been out of the spotlight for over two years.
He was most last seen in the ABS-CBN teleserye Make It With You, which was canceled due to the pandemic’s onset in early 2020. He worked with his reel and real-life girlfriend Liza Soberano in the series.
Recently, Soberano and Gil were spotted together visiting the Belo Medical Clinic despite the recent breakup rumors.
On June 20, Soberano revealed that she and her boyfriend Gil might not be doing any more projects together. She recently signed with a new management agency, Careless Music.
Soberano also laughed off the rumors of her and Gil’s breakup circulating online.
