On July 9, Denise Esteban talked about the value of sex education in schools.
During the media conference for the remaining episodes of High On Sex, Esteban highlighted the importance of sex education in schools to normalize the discussion about sex.
“‘Yung sex-ed sa schools kulang, nagiging topic siya, pero hindi normal sa mga kabataan ang makarinig ng sex. So ganyan medyo nandidiri sila, ganyan. So feeling ko kailangan pa natin ng sex education sa school.”
However, Esteban confirmed that she doesn’t support the initiative of distributing condoms in schools.
“And doon naman sa schools, hindi naman na siguro obligasyon ng school na bigyan ng condoms ‘yung mga kabataan, obligasyon na nila sa sarili nila ‘yun. So kung magdadala sila, go, pero kung ibibigay ng school sa mga estudyante, parang hindi siguro ganon.”
Esteban is one of the newest sexy stars under Viva, and she has worked on Kaliwaan, Doblado, and Secrets.
Esteban listed her preparations for sexy scenes from her projects, such as script reading and workshops.
“Siguro ‘yung pag-prepare namin sa love scenes, siguro ‘yung workshops po. And siyempre binasa rin namin ‘yung script, kung ano ‘yung gagawin namin sa mga love scenes.”
She then differentiated High On Sex from her previous Viva projects.
“Tapos ang pinagkaiba naman niya doon sa mga nagawa kong love scenes, ‘yung mga love scenes ko kasi before is parang seryoso, pero pag ‘yung dito sa High On Sex, mayroon siyang hint ng comedy every love scene.”
Denise Esteban stars in the Vivamax original series High On Sex. The main cast includes other Viva artists, Wilbert Ross, Angela Morena, and Katrina Dovey.
