In a Facebook post on Thursday, June 30, Salviejo said she is proud to be a supporter of former president Rodrigo Duterte.
The singer-actress also shared photos showing Duterte’s legacy during his six-year term.
“Ikinararangal kong isa ako sa tagasunod mo hanggang sa huling sandali ng iyong termino… MARAMING SALAMAT PRRD!” she wrote.
Salviejo appeared in Bawal na Gamot (1994), Princess and I (2012), The Ghost Bride (2014), and FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
She defended Duterte from critics several times in the past.
Duterte stepped out of Malacañang on Thursday, June 30, as the 16th President of the Philippines.
He will return to his hometown, Davao City. However, he failed to attend the inauguration of Bongbong Marcos, the 17th president of the Philippines.
Salviejo is also a supporter of Marcos Jr and Vice President Sara Duterte’s tandem. She will portray as one of the maids in the film Maid in Malacañang directed by Darryl Yap.
The film will show the last 72 Hours of the Marcoses inside the Palace before the EDSA People Power I happened in 1986.
