On July 25, comedian Bayani Agbayani’s prayer about not being arrogant went viral on social media.
During their variety show Tropang Lol, Agbayani led the prayer alongside his co-hosts.
“Lord, maraming salamat po sa humility na binibigay mo po sa amin. Patuloy mo pong ibigay sa amin ‘yan. Patuloy mo rin po kaming bigyan ng pusong mapagmahal, salamat po sa kalusugan sa lahat ng bagay.
“Huwag ninyo rin po kaming hayaang maging hambog o mayabang. Lagi po kaming magpapakumbaba at tutulong sa abot ng aming kapwa dito po sa industriya at sa labas ng industriya. Thank you Lord, Thank you Mama Mary.”
Netizens inferred that his prayer got something to do with the recent ‘retaliation’ of the It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda, following Agbayani’s comments about their show never going overtime.
Some of them even called out the seasoned comedian regarding his comments.

Despite the comments from the hosts, Tropang Lol and It’s Showtime both improved in ratings after the change in their timeslots.
Initially called Lunch Out Loud, TV5 reformatted the former noontime show as Tropang LOL and moved it to 11:am to give ‘It’s Showtime’ the 12:45 pm schedule.
