Kapamilya young actress Andrea Brillantes on Friday, July 1, could not believe she would be going on Star Magic 30: Beyond the Stars US Tour with Alexa Ilacad and Belle Mariano.
They were part of the now-defunct kiddie gag show Goin’ Bulilit before blossoming into fine young artists of ABS-CBN.
Now, they are part of Star Magic’s concert along with Kim Chiu, Zanjoe Marudo, Carlo Aquino, Maymay Entrata, Charlie Dizon, Edward Barber, Donny Pangilinan, KD Estrada, Maris Racal, and Gigi De Lana.
“Ako po, excited ako dahil first time kong mag-tatravel sila lahat halos except for ate May dahil nagsama tayo no’ng San Francisco sa ASAP,” said Brillantes during the event’s virtual media conference.
Furthermore, the Kapamilya talent revealed that Ilacad would be her roomie during the entirety of the tour.
“Halos siguro sampung taon na magkasama kami, first time lang namin ma-experience ni ate Alexa itong ganitong klaseng bonding.”
She added, “Mas excited ako na maging close pa ako sa ibang kasama ko dito at siyempre mapasaya po ‘yung mga Kapamilya natin sa ibang bansa.”
Brillantes, for the first time, will also be going abroad without her mother. According to her, it is “one wish off the bucketlist.”
Star Magic 30: Beyond the Stars marks the talent agency’s 30th year in the industry. It will kick off on July 23 at the Newport Performing Arts Center and continue to the Kings Theater, Warfield Theater, and Saban Theater on August 6, 12, and 14.
