Since she entered the showbiz industry, Kapamilya actress Andrea Brillantes has consistently wanted to be an actress. But on Tuesday, July 19, she shared that her dream rarely materialized after a failed audition.
Filipinos have seen her as a child star in the now-defunct kiddie gag show Goin’ Bulilit although it was not the start of her journey to become an actress.
The 19-year-old Kapamilya star revealed during the Lyric and Beat press conference that she tried to become a child actor at four years old. Unfortunately, it did not happen.
“Before kasi, nag-audition ako no’ng four ako and hindi ako natanggap.
Yet another followed her failure after losing to an amateur talent competition.
However, winning another contest made her realize she was waiting for her turn to be a star.
Ngayon try natin ulit.’ Baka hindi lang talaga noong four years old ako pero baka this is it, this is the time.”
Now, she is living the dream and leading another project with her Gold Squad members, Seth Fedelin and Kyle Echarri.
Lyric and Beat also includes Darren Espanto, AC Bonifacio, Nyoy Volante, Agot Isidro, Joanna Ampil, Sheena Belarmino, Jeremy Glinoga, and Angela Ken.
The musical series is directed by Dolly Dulu and will stream on iWantTFC in August.
