On July 7, Kapamilya tandem Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano (DonBelle) each revealed their families’ opinions of their partnership.
During the media conference for He’s Into Her‘s finale, Pangilinan said that his family has already met Mariano, and they like her.
“My parents already know Belle, kasi they’ve been seeing her in events, and even personally, they’ve seen her. So, you know, they like her.
“So I don’t think my parents’ naman would be the type of people to say this person shouldn’t be in your life unless may sobrang may ginagawa na siyang masama sayo. But they let me, and I choose group wisely, my circle wisely, and they support me through everything.”
She also disclosed that her Mom has already met with her love team pair.
“Same, my parents give me naman the freedom to choose my friends and my circle, and my parents met him, my Mom met him, and yeah, he’s a great man.”
He then cited the values he saw in Mariano, commending her selflessness and eagerness.
“Maybe the same values I see in her is that she’s grounded. And she cares a lot about other people more than her, in a good way. She’s very selfless. And she’s always eager to make /sure she gives her best in everything she does.”
She responded by praising Pangilinan’s passion for his craft as an actor and his faith in God.
“Ako naman, same rin, ‘yung passion niya, ‘yung eager niya to grow, but I think what really tumatak sa akin and sa Mom ko, is ‘yung connection niya with God, ‘yung faith niya with God, kasi I go to the same church with him, and he actually introduced me there sa church.”
Both stars became one of the Kapamilya network’s popular love teams after they starred in the Kapamilya series, He’s Into Her.
Currently, in its second season, He’s Into Her nears its series finale a few remaining episodes left to tie up the story of ‘Deib’ and ‘Maxpein.’
