The well-received romantic-comedy series Hoy Love You is off to its 3rd season.
ABS-CBN has apparently renewed the JoRox romcom series Hoy Love You for Season 3.
In an Instagram story on Friday, July 15, one of Hoy Love You’s main cast Dominic Ochoa revealed the news as he shared a screenshot photo of their meeting with the show’s creative heads Rhandy Reyes, ABS-CBN Executive Linggit Tan, and co-star Carmi Martin.
In the IG story, he captions “Hoy Love You Season 3!!!”
With the success of the first two seasons of the rom-com series in terms of ratings and online views, it’s not surprising that ABS-CBN decided to renew for its third Season.
In an exclusive interview by LionHearTV with Linggit Tan in September 2021 for the launch of Season 2, she thanked everyone who watched and enjoyed the show. She added that the warm reception, including good ratings for the show, has prompted the ABS-CBN management to renew it for Season 2.
“Gusto ko talaga magpasalamat sa lahat. Ang sabi sa akin ng ABS nila Direk Lauren, Direk Ralph ang head ng programming, okay naman ang ratings ng Hoy Love You sa Kapamilya Channel sa A2Z at sa KOL.
“So thank you very much sa ating mga viewers, abroad at dito. Maraming maraming salamat talaga at dahil maganda nga ang performance ng season 1 at pinag-pray talaga namin ng husto para magkaroon ng season 2.”
In the same interview, Tan also shared her hope for a Season 3, which has been finally answered.
“Iba talaga kapag kilala niyo si Lord na tunay na panginoon niyo, at tagapag-provide kasi ibibigay niya talaga.
“Kasi talaga hiningi naming lahat na magkaroon ng season 2 and ito na ipapalabas na. So magpe-pray nanaman kami para magkaroon ng season 3.”
After reigniting the spark of their relationship brought by the conflicts with Jules and his childhood friend Mica, expect other fun-filled episodes in Hoy Love You’s Season 3 as Marge and Jules continue to navigate their married life.
Viewers can also expect more teen-love kilig in Season 3 as Cara’s grandfather Mang Bruno already gave blessings to her relationship with Marge’s son Charles.
