The back-to-back-to-back lineup of 24 Oras, Lolong, and Bolera on GMA Network’s Primetime is a consistent top-rater on free TV.
Since Lolong premiered on July 4, GMA Network programs secured the top 3 spots of the AGB Nielsen leaderboards.
During Lolong‘s pilot week, 24 Oras remained unbeatable in the #1 spot on the weekday rating chart. Lolong then took over the #2 spot from its predecessor First Lady while Bolera settled in the #3 spot despite tough competition with FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
On July 4, 24 Oras earned an 18.0% rating while Lolong came very close with a 17.7% rating. Bolera, in the third spot, earned a 13.0% rating.
The following day, 24 Oras and Lolong dropped to 16.7% and 16.2%, respectively. Meanwhile, Bolera improved with a 13.7% rating.
On July 6, Bolera maintained its rating from the previous day. 24 Oras then improved to 18.6%, Lolong also raised its rating to 17.6%.
On July 7, all three programs dropped their ratings—Bolera with 13.4%, Lolong with 16.7%, and 24 Oras with 17.2%.
On Friday, 24 Oras recovered to a 17.8% rating while Lolong continued to drop to 16.2%. Bolera‘s rating also increased to 15.3%.
These three programs hinder FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano from returning to the Top 3 despite the Kapamilya program’s improvement in ratings recently.
With GMA Network’s audience reach, their programs are expected to earn high ratings and dominate the leaderboards. However, it is undeniable that FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano remains a threat to GMA Network’s flagship shows.
