Rolling In It host Yassi Pressman recalled the biggest wins and losses of her career on May 25.
During the media conference for the second season of the game show, Pressman said she considered the time she thought about quitting showbiz as the biggest loss of her career.
“Biggest lose ko siguro was maybe the time that I quit showbiz when I was mga 17 when I said ayaw ko na. Siguro that moment ng nagtuloy-tuloy, wala po lahat ‘to.”
As for her biggest wins, she considered the time she helped her father live a longer life and the moment she landed her role in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano as her ‘jackpot moments’ as an actress.
My biggest win, which is being able to give a long life to my father, because this industry was the one who helped me through it all. I was/ given six months and tumagal din ng ten years.
“Siguro po up to this day, siguro Ang Probinsyano. The moment that really changed my life and paulit-ulit ko pong sasabihin ‘yun na I’m thankful for Dreamscape family ko, Ang Probinsyano family ko, kila sir Deo, sa mga nagtiwala po sa akin, and my Viva family of course, and that really changed my life and the life that I could give to my family.”
She then shared her fondest memory of the late Pinoy Cinema legend Susan Roces while she was in FPJAP.
“Kapag pahinga po yayain niya po kami doon sa kwarto, Yassi dito ka na sa kama, malaki naman ‘yung kami. Ikaw siyempre, you’re in front of one of the biggest legends in the country, but their so kind.
She even recalled Roces’ advice about prioritizing her family and herself.
“So we spent a lot of time together. And she’s like always do this for your family, lagi kang magtitira para sa sarili mo.”
Now, Pressman hosts Rolling In It Philippines, which returns for its second season on May 28, Saturday, 7:30 PM via TV5 and with catch-up episodes via Cignal TV and SatLite.
