Raymond Gutierrez on June 3, began Pride Month with a boyfriend reveal via Wil Dasovich’s podcast SUPERHUMAN.
Gutierrez recounted going through a ‘let’s have fun, see where this goes’ phase and found a special someone in January.
“I think the first few months it was kind of like, ‘let’s have fun, see where this goes,’ but in January, I did meet someone. We’re taking it a bit more seriously and yeah, we are in a relationship.”
Dasovich could only convey his surprise upon hearing Gutierrez’s boyfriend reveal.
“Oh damn! You just dropped that like that. There you go. Boyfriend reveal, let’s go!’
Gutierrez pointed out that he had nothing to hide.
“There’s nothing to hide. What is there to hide? If the pandemic taught us something, it’s to live your life now.”
Gutierrez clarified that his boyfriend is a private person and respects it.
“I feel like the launch, or like– the boyfriend reveal… Honestly, I feel like it’s because you’re both in the public eye. So, it’s okay, but he’s not.
“I respect that about him. I actually like that he doesn’t like the attention. He barely posts… I like that he’s private.”
In August 2021, Gutierrez publicly came out as gay and recounted his experience hiding his sexuality.
Aside from his relationship reveal, Gutierrez also recounted living in Los Angeles, California, USA, amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
