Stars of the upcoming sexy drama movie Biyak Quinn Carillo, Angelica Cervantes, and Albie Casiño on Wednesday, June 8, revealed that they felt safe and comfortable doing sexy scenes under the direction of esteemed filmmaker Joel Lamangan.
Carillo, who previously worked with the director several times, knew how sensitive he was in filming intimate scenes. The sexy star did not impose any restrictions once she knew Lamangan would direct it.
“Restrictions naman, I didn’t have any kasi I know how Direk Joel handles these kind of scenes. So tiwala naman ako sa kanya na he will do it tastefully talaga,” she said during the film’s virtual media conference.
Cervantes also did not limit herself in Biyak. Furthermore, her opinion and concerns were heard.
Both Carillo and Cervantes got their first lead roles in Lamangan’s latest offering. As a new sexy actress, the former did not hesitate to do what her director ordered her to do.
“Well, I’m new to the daring scenes. As you probably know, medyo hindi po ako nagse-sexy sa other films. But I think this one is my second. Then may pinagawa sa akin si Direk. Pero sobrang laki naman po nang tiwala ko kay Direk Joel when it comes to intimate scenes. So hindi ako nagreklamo or what,” she explained.
Cervantes added that she did not feel violated by how Lamangan filmed the movie.
Biyak is about two long-lost sisters who recently reconnected. One left her rich but abusive family, while the other is a former drug pusher-turned-police asset. Now, with each other’s back, both sisters try to achieve the peaceful life they long for.
Will Biyak grant them what they wish for? See it on July 1, only on Vivamax.
