As the Kapamilya series, The Broken Marriage Vow enters its final three weeks, stars Zanjoe Marudo and Jodi Sta. Maria on Monday, June 6, both felt that the show had impacted the Philippine entertainment industry.
In the final media conference of the show, Marudo realized that they were doing “something right.”
“Siguro ‘yung ano na, iyong na-appreciate na siya ng audience. Parang, ‘Uy! Tama ang mga ginawa natin,'” he said.
The show earlier on June 2 earned a 5.2% rating, according to AGB Nielsen’s National Urban TV Measurement (NUTAM) data. It is also the most-viewed show on iWantTFC and Viu as well.
Moreover, Marudo realized that Filipinos worldwide, through The Broken Marriage Vow, had something entertaining to watch.
“Nagkaroon sila ng isang programa na nage-enjoy sila, na inaabangan nila. Iyon ang para sa akin, ang success ng show ang pinaka-exciting.”
Sta. Maria likewise agreed with what her co-star said. The actress also noticed how thrilled Filipinos abroad were with the show.
“I think tama, tama ang sinabi ni Z. Isa sa mga exciting part ang tinangkilik ng mga tao ang The Broken Marriage Vow. Kahit papaano, naging proud ang kapwa nating Pilipino doon sa output na naibigay natin para sa kanila.”
She punned, “I think ‘yon ang exciting part. Tapos doon ang ending part na, hahaha!”
For its last three weeks, The Broken Marriage Vow will feature how David (Marudo) chooses between Dr. Jill (Sta. Maria) and Lexi (Sue Ramirez).
The show airs weeknights on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, Jeepney TV, A2Z Channel 11, and TV5. It is also available on iWantTFC and Viu.
