Tom Rodriguez has been deceived by a friend, losing money worth millions.
On June 17, via an Instagram post, Popoy Caritativo, Rodriguez’s talent manager, confirmed that Rodriguez had lost a huge amount of money.

“It was not a perfect relationship, but we both know how much we loved each other.
“I will no longer dwell on the reasons why our marriage fell apart. So many lies have been said of me, which are completely untrue and utterly unfair.
“I may have fallen short as a partner, especially when I lost all my money to someone who preyed on my gullibility, but it must be stressed that at no time did I ever leave a hand on Carla,” Caritativo posted.
Allegations are saying that P20 million has been taken from Rodriguez. The said money should have been used to purchase a rest house with Carla Abellana.
On June 19, via Instagram, Lolit Solis shared her sentiments over Rodriguez giving his full trust to his friend.
