The new romance-suspense-themed series of GMA Network, Love You Stranger, premiered on June 6 on the network’s Telebabad lineup.
The Gabbi Garcia-Khalil Ramos starrer series earned 6.5%, ranking 7th in the chart for its pilot episode.
The following day, it dropped to a 6.2% rating, ranking 8th in the chart.
On June 8, it again dropped to a 5.7% rating, tied with another Kapuso drama, The Fake Life, in the 7th-8th spot.
On June 9, Love You Stranger climbed to the 6th spot with a 6.6% rating.
During its pilot on June 6, it became the #5 most trending topic on Twitter, as netizens commended the series’ production and cast.

Love You Stranger failed to sustain its predecessor, the drama anthology Mano Po Legacy: Her Big Boss, which concluded on June 2 with a 7.6% rating, ranking 6th on the leaderboards of AGB Nielsen.
Love You Stranger was expected to release on GTV in the first quarter of 2021; however, GMA Network opted to postpone its airing due to a rise of COVID-19 cases in the country.
Following the cancellation of their series, Garcia and Ramos starred in the three-week mini-series Stories From The Heart: Love On-Air.
Love You Stranger is Ramos’ first full-length project since joining the GMA Network.
The series revolves around LJ (Gabbi), a film production designer, and Ben (Khalil), a director. They filmed in Sta Castela; an ancient town said to be haunted by a shadow demon known as Lilom.
Love You Stranger airs after Bolera every Monday to Thursday at 9:35 p.m.
