On May 27, Rev. Fr. Joseph Fidel Roura shared his encounter with the Kapuso phenomenal star Maine Mendoza at her sister, Coleen Mendoza’s wedding.
Roura admitted that he got distracted by Mendoza as the maid of honor on his Facebook account.
“Napakarami ko nang ikinasal pero ngayon lang ako nadistract sa maid of honor. Iba din kasi talaga ang appeal ni Maine Mendoza.”
He even joked that he slyly scored a way to see the Kapuso star up close.
“‘Yong pwede namang ‘di na tawagin ang best man at maid of honor dahil nasa harap ko na ‘yong arrhae and rings pero tinawag ko pa rin haha. Para-paraan lang ‘yan.”
Mendoza began her career as the Dubsmash queen and YayaDub in GMA Network’s noontime show, Eat Bulaga. Her stint in the entertainment industry reached new heights after her pairing with Alden Richards, which produced AlDub, a worldwide social media sensation.
As for the wedding, Mendoza attended her sister’s wedding at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish – Barasoain Church on May 21, wherein Roura officiated the nuptials.
Maine donned a teal-colored gown designed by Bulacan-based fashion designer Jo Rubio.
Joining her at the wedding was the actor and Quezon City 1st District Rep. Arjo Atayde.
