Singer-songwriter and OPM Legend Ogie Alcasid didn’t escape It’s Showtime’s signature “physical hosting” as he experience one, from the noontime trio Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, and Jhong Hilario.
In the noontime show’s June 9 episode, Alcasid was put to the test when Vice, Vhong, and Jhong made him experience their trending “kulitan” antics.
During the show’s Sexy Babe segment, Vice and Jhong teased Ogie after he started dancing to impress the contestant.
Vice then immediately poked fun at Ogie likening him to a kid who was often asked by their parents to perform whenever there was a family gathering.
As the trio was making funny banter, they slowly moved closer to Ogie without any hint of what was going to happen next.
While Ogie happily joined the fun, he was caught in surprise when the three suddenly carried him and did their signature “alog-alog” antics which Vhong and Jhong usually did to Vice.
This was the second time that the three got to do their hilarious physical hosting again after Jhong came back from his temporary break from the noontime show.
Jhong made a surprise comeback to the noontime show on June 4 after more than a year of hiatus.
In 2021, Jhong decided to take a leave from hosting It’s Showtime to concentrate on his family and to protect their newborn child from the threat of the pandemic.
Before the pandemic and the ABS-CBN shutdown, Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, and Jhong Hilario have made several hilarious moments resulting in “physical hosting” which trended online.
Most of their “kulitan” moments happened in the show’s Tawag Ng Tanghalan segment.
