Four years after the recording and management company Kean Cipriano and Chynna Ortaleza’s OC Records–is born, the number of artists it housed tripled since its inception.
On June 15, Cipriano and Ortaleza celebrated the fourth anniversary of OC Records, having performances from various artists and talents.
“Kung babalikan ko lahat ng nangyari, ganun kabilis na yun, four years? Kahit sobrang dami nangyari at nakilalang artists, daming nagawa. Parang kung babalikan ko siya, ang bilis pa rin and we’re just so grateful.”
Cipriano admitted that he could not believe it’s been four years since they started.
“We’re trying to nurture artists, figuring out the right balance, not just art, art, art or business, business, business. It starts with the material that you have. [Yung] universe magdidikta saan sila dadalhin.
“Hindi matatanggal sa aking ang pagiging musician. Nasa phase na ako na I want something new. It’s not just about me anymore, I have found my bigger purpose with these artists,” he added.
“We are blessed to be surrounded by these amazing artists. At this point, we started with six artists. Unique was one of our pioneer artists. Marami po tayong OC artists na makikilala sa future.”
Ortaleza shared that she is looking forward to meeting new faces in the future.
Cipriano acts as the president of OC Records, while Ortaleza functions as the vice president.
