On June 10, musician Juan Karlos and Asia’s Next Top Model winner Maureen Wroblewitz confirmed their break-up through their respective social media platforms.
Juan Karlos posted a photo of them on his Facebook and Instagram, noting how they changed from lovers turn to friends.
“Magka-ibigan na ngayo’y matalik na magkaibigan. Lagi mong tandaan na kahit pagbaliktarin mo man ang mundo, kahit saang lupalop man ng kalawakan, ikaw parin ang nagiisa kong buwan. Maraming salamat, mahal kita, at hanggang sa muli.”
Wroblewitz posted an art card with the quote, “life is not happening to you, life is happening for you.”
She then confirmed their break-up, citing how they both want to grow separately.
“Some things come to an end, and that’s okay. but now it’s time for us to grow on our own.”
Karlos commented on Wroblewitz’s Instagram post, expressing how lucky he felt being with the model artist for all their years together.
He then penned his comment with, ‘Thank you, I love you, and Good bye,’ message in German.
“I am the luckiest person in the world to have spent the past years of my life with you and I wouldn’t choose anybody else to have spend those years with. You’ve taught me so much and I have learned, I am learning, and I will learn more.
“We are both so young and we have to enjoy ourselves. I want to see you succeed. I love seeing you achieve your dreams. You will. We will. Here’s to growth and love for ourselves. For there is no greater love than self-love. Dankëschon, Ich liebe dich and auf wiedersehen.”

He also remarked on his own Facebook post hinting at him letting go of Wroblewitz.
Wroblewitz responded to Karlos’ comments by thanking her former beau and writing three white heart emojis.

In 2017, rumors about Karlos and Wroblewitz dating rumors surfaced, and they only confirmed their relationship in 2019.
