Jodi Sta. Maria almost ended her showbiz career after her stint in The Broken Marriage Vow.
On June 6, during the media conference of The Broken Marriage Vow finale, Sta. Maria revealed how she made a huge decision regarding her acting career after working on the show.
“This role has really pushed me to the edge. Kumbaga pushed me to my limits. And then I clearly remember after we all watched yung three minutes na video, nung launch ng trailer. Tapos we were all happy kasi finally nakita na namin yung glimpse ng ginawa namin.
Sta. Maria admitted that she has nothing to give on her following projects, saying she has given everything to The Broken Marriage Vow.
Wala na akong ibang magagawa after this so yun yung time na yun.”
Sta. Maria said she had drained all of her creative juices for the project.
“Pagkalabas ko ng lock-in, I realized that I was so tired, I was physically and emotionally and mentally exhausted from playing the role of Dra. Jill Ilustre. So all I really needed lang pala was a break to recharge, to relax, to just kalma, ganun,” she added.
