ABS-CBN’s FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano shows improvement in ratings but still cannot surpass the Kapuso show Bolera.
From 10%-11% last week, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano breached the 12% mark this week.
On June 20, it earned a 12.1% rating and improved to a 12.3% rating on June 21. It is consistent in the fourth spot of the AGB Nielsen rating chart.
Even though FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano ratings have improved, the program failed to climb up the leaderboards because Bolera remains competitive and top-rated.
Kylie Padilla-starrer Bolera secured the #3 spot with a 13.5% rating on June 20 and a 13.1% rating on June 21.
Meanwhile, 24 Oras still holds the top spot on the leaderboards for weekday programming, while GMA Network’s First Lady remains the most-watched drama nationwide.
In terms of online views, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano continues its supremacy.
On June 20, its four-part episode on YouTube earned more than 7 million views, while it earned 6.3 million views on June 21. These figures are far and huge compared to the average of only 170k views for Bolera.
Bolera and FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano compete neck-to-neck in free TV but, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’s online reach is immensely huge compared to Bolera.
