GMA Network allegedly rejected Matteo Guidicelli’s project proposal according to the Take It! Take It! Me Ganon online show of Lolit Solis and Mr. Fu aired on Tuesday, May 24.
The program proposed by Guidicelli was not accepted as it requires a big budget. Thus, it was not presented to the top management of the network.
Solis and Fu shared that the concept of the new show is good but the Network can’t afford to spend huge money on it.
Guidicelli’s acting career started when he joined the fourth season of the teenage comedy sitcom Go Kada Go in 2007, becoming a member of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic.
The next year, he played supporting roles in the action-fantasy show Kung Fu Kids and in the soap opera Ligaw na Bulaklak.
He used to be a regular on SOP Fully Charged along with a guest role in All My Life as part of his transfer to GMA Network. In 2010, he was given the lead role in the ABS-CBN primetime fantasy television series Agua Bendita, his Kapamilya comeback project.
After 15 years of being with Star Magic, Guidicelli signed a contract with Viva Artists Agency.
He and his long-time girlfriend Sarah Geronimo got secretly married in a Christian Wedding Ceremony at Victory Church on Thursday, February 20, 2020.
