Ferdinand Marcos Sr. had a brief ‘cameo’ on Stranger Things 4 as its first volume arrived on Netflix on Friday, May 27.
In the series’ first episode, the face of Marcos appeared in a Newsweek magazine read by Hellfire Club leader Eddie Munson (Joe Quinn).
The cover story of the news magazine issue is titled Showdown: The Last Act in Manila. It was discovered that the Newsweek issue existed, but it featured photos of the Duffer brothers.
This caught the attention of many Filipino viewers. Many netizens aired their various reactions to Marcos’ ‘cameo’ on Stranger Things 4.
