Breakout UK electronic duo Duke & Jones have unveiled the official single release of ‘Jiggle Jiggle’, their viral collaboration with Louis Theroux, out 13th May.
Currently the biggest song on TikTok (over 100,000 daily creations and 4.8 million overall TikToks and over 50 million views on the original video), ‘Jiggle Jiggle’ sees Duke & Jones carve an infectious remix around a snippet of Theroux’s rap which was born on an episode of his celebrated Weird Weekends series and reprised more recently on Amelia Dimoldenberg’s Chicken Shop Date.
After being picked up and danced to by all sorts of celebrities, including Snoop Dogg & Lizzo, the success of the track has now transcended TikTok, and Duke & Jones’ YouTube upload of it currently sits at over 4 million streams. ‘Jiggle Jiggle’ has also picked up significant press coverage, including from the Daily Mail, LA Timesand British GQ.
Duke & Jones are quickly establishing themselves as one of the most forward-thinking independent acts in the industry. Carving a reputation as ‘producer’s producers’ they continue to prove that true talent doesn’t need a record label or huge co-sign to make waves – instead, they let the music speak for itself. Their unique sound has helped them garner millions of global listeners – including a loyal TikTok following who are hooked to their hilarious autotune videos – and support from some of the biggest artists in the world.
Best known as the presenter of genre-defining documentaries for the BBC as well as the award-winning feature My Scientology Movie, Louis Theroux is one of television’s best known faces. In a career spanning 25 years this is his first, rather unexpected, detour into the recording studio.
One of the biggest things on the internet right now, the official release of ‘Jiggle Jiggle’ is destined to propel the track to new heights.
