TV Director Bobet Vidandes made it clear on Tuesday, May 31, that he never offended anyone after leaving ABS-CBN.
“So far, wala naman po akong kaaway na artist eh,” he said during the media launch of BLVCK Entertainment Productions, which he now manages.
The company is owned by singer Grace Cristobal and her husband, Louie.
It can be recalled that the director’s departure from ABS-CBN’s noontime show It’s Showtime has caused such a ruckus. He also became dramatic during those times.
“Pamilyar yung stage, pamilyar yung panahon na andito ako with artists, magkaiba nga lang yung mukha. I miss my family, I miss my Showtime family,” expressed the director during his birthday speech on October 11, 2021.
He also added, “Ipinagtiwala ko sa inyo na kayo na ang magpapaliwanag sa mga artists ko ngayon sinasabi ng mga artists ko, iniwan ko sila.”
Vidanes reiterated his statement that ABS-CBN told him that they would personally inform the talents that he would be leaving behind before exiting the show.
Though he does not have anything against his former artists, Vidanes explained that he would have second thoughts about allowing them in BLVCK.
Vidanes was It’s Showtime‘s director for 11 years before switching to TV5. He now directs the variety show Lunch Out Loud.
The director, in the meantime, is looking for fresh talents to add to BLVCK.
