Young star Diego Loyzaga gladly accepts the role of young Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
Loyzaga was named as the young Marcos Jr. in the upcoming movie “Maid in Malacanang” to be directed by controversial director and content creator Darryl Yap.
In an Instagram post on June 12 during an Independence Day party with the Marcos Jr. supporters, Diego gladly shared his excitement for the movie, saying it was a dream come true to portray the young Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in a movie.
“Alam ko rin na balang araw, kung puwede kong suportahan ang pamilyang Marcos, susuportahan ko po talaga sila.
“Dumating po yung oportunidad na ‘yon, at kinuha ko po ‘yon, at salamat sa Diyos na binigyan Niya ako ng oportunidad na gampanan si Presidente Bongbong Marcos sa isang role at sa isang pelikula.”

Diego also proudly proclaimed himself as a Marcos loyalist.
“So I’m happy and thankful to be part of this family, tawagan n’yo rin po akong (Marcos) loyalist po, maraming-maraming salamat.”
Aside from Diego, his father, Cesar Montano, will also be part of the movie as the late strongman Ferdinand Marcos Sr.
Beauty queen turned actress Ruffa Gutierrez meanwhile, will be playing former First Lady Imelda Marcos, while Cristine Reyes and Ella Cruz will portray the role of Sen. Imee Marcos and Irene Marcos.
According to its director, Maid in Malacanang will tell the story of the Marcoses during their last few hours in the country before they fled to the US following the 1982 EDSA People Power Revolution.
