On June 17, Diego Loyzaga admitted that he lost himself because of love when he was younger.
During the media conference for Ang Babaeng Nawawala sa Sarili, Loyzaga said he gave too much of himself to his past relationships but noted that he had already matured.
“Siguro noong mas bata, tama naman si Ayanna na kahit papaano mayroon pa rin na you don’t do things you don’t normally do. So in sense nawawala ka sa sarili mo pero hindi na ‘yung sobra katulad ng mas bata tayo na lahat-lahat binibigay mo. Siguro medyo nag-mature na.”
As for his Vivamax movie, Loyzaga implied his role in Ang Babaeng Nawawala sa Sarili as his most daring yet.
“Ito na siguro ‘yung pinaka nag-show ako sa kahit anong pelikula.”
He also detailed how he agreed with director Roman Perez Jr. while they were filming his daring scenes.
“I didn’t necessarily plan it. Malakas lang talaga si Direk Roman sa akin. So hindi ako nakatanggi. Noong nilatag nila sa akin sabi ko parang hindi ko mag-a-all the way. Sabi niya sa set, ‘Diegs’ magplaster ka na.’ Sabi ko, ‘Ha? Hindi ko po gagawin ‘yan.’ So we met halfway, so binibigay ko pa rin ‘yung kailangan niya.”
When asked if he has plans to be more daring with his future projects, Loyzaga hinted at the possibility of him going ‘all the way.’
“Maganda, maganda ‘yung eksena namin ni Ayanna, but hindi pa rin siya ‘yung full nine yards.
“Yeah, definitely, in the close [near] future, might as well, Vivamax. Let’s go atin ‘to.”
During his stint under Vivamax, Loyzaga has worked in daring movies such as A Death of a Girlfriend, House Tour, and Greed.
As for his upcoming movie, Ang Babaeng Nawawala sa Sarili stars Ayanna Misola, Diego Loyzaga, Adrian Alandy, Mon Confiado, and Ava Mendez.
The adaptation of the 1989 sexy-horror film of the same title is under the direction of Roman Perez Jr. and streams at Vivamax on July 15, 2022.
