Billionaire businessman Manny Villar and Willie Revillame accordingly discussed the possibility of the Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS), Inc. opening this 2022.
AMBS is a broadcst media company owned by the Villar Group. The media company is currently assigned to the Channel 2 frequency previously owned by ABS-CBN.
According to PEP, Manny Villar went to the Tagaytay residence of Willie Revillame along with his daughter Las Piñas House Representative Camille Villar. Willie then met with the two using his helicopter.
Their group went to Crossing Café in Daanghari Road, Cavite, where they met AMBS President Beth Tolentino.
Accordingly, they talked about the possibility of AMBS opening this 2022. Rumors then spread that AMBS will be called All Broadcasting System (ABS) as the media company is currently assigned to ABS-CBN’s previous frequency.
Meanwhile, the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) granted broadcast frequencies to AMBS that were previously assigned to ABS-CBN Corp in January 2022.
In March 2022, TV5 and GMA Network executives then welcomed AMBS network as their new competition.
