On May 26, Viva artist Bob Jbeili recounted his experience wherein his friend set him up with his current girlfriend.
During the media conference for the VivaMax movie, Jbeili said his friend saw his and his GF’s similar personalities.
“Sa akin po kasi, ganon po ‘yung nangyari sa girlfriend ko ngayon. Di ano po siya, mayroon akong friend na kalaro ko sa online games, tapos parang mayroon daw siyang friend na ka-personality ko, basically, parang babaeng version ko. Sabi niya, ‘naalala ko lang, mayroon akong friend na parang ikaw. Ipapakilala ko sayo.’ So sabi ko, ‘sige nga.'”
He also recalled checking her social media accounts before they met.
“Nakita ko ‘yung mga Instagram posts niya, sobrang wacky niyang tao din. Sabi ko, ‘siya ako eh, siya ako eh.’ Sabi kong ganon. So sige, Pini-m ko siya sa Facebook. Tapos medyo complicated kasi nga lilipad siya for Spain dahil doon siya magwo-work. Magtuturo siya sa Spanish kids ng English.”
Jbeili added that he’s open to going all out on their first date.
“So kung first date, first date, ‘yung first kita kasi namin, doon na eh, sa UK na eh. So parang okay naman, kasi parang magkakilala na rin kayo. So ‘yung ‘yung first date talaga, again kagaya nga ng sabi ni Kate, wala namang masama na mag-all out, ipakita mo ‘yung lahat. Kumbaga it’s better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all.”
Jbeili first appeared on TV via Eat Bulaga’s Mr. Pogi in 2012. He also joined It’s Showtime’s The Funny One in 2015.
He’s also known for movies such as Lucid (2019), The Write Moment (2017), and Ang Pambansang Third Wheel (2018).
As for their sexy comedy movie, ‘PaThirsty’ stars Adrianna So, Kych Minemoto, Alex Diaz, Chad Kinis, Bob Jbeili, and Kate Alejandrino.
The movie, directed by Ivan Andrew Payawal, premieres on Vivamax Plus on June 1 and streams on Vivamax on June 29.
