The popular spa chain is among the biggest and most relevant sponsors of the recently-held Miss World Philippines pageant.
Miss World Philippines received the kind of pampering fit for a queen, during their entire journey in the competition. Bluewater Day seemingly understood that it takes a lot of hard work to keep the glamour of a beauty queen. It is for such a reason that Bluewater Day Spa, rendered its support for this year’s competition. The popular spa chain treated all the 36 entrants to a day full of relaxation, before the coronation night on Sunday, June 5.
Bluewater Day Spa executives had the chance of meeting the candidates in June, during the Miss World Philippines Gala Night held at the Okada Manila. It was to be the beginning of a welcome break for the beauties, who were surely ready for some relaxation following weeks filled with practicing for the show, public appearances, and endless photo shoots.
Mary Simsim, president and CEO of Bluewater Day Spa, personally welcomed the candidates the following day, when they were all invited to step into the Bluewater Day Spa in San Juan City. The day was meant to prepare the contestants, mentally and emotionally, for the big battle on the next day.
The spa brought its A-game to impress all the beauties with their most sought-after offers, including their dermatologically-tested and safe facial treatments. Miss World candidates were pampered with the spa’s hand and foot treatments, nail treatments, machine treatments, phototherapy flash, and scrubs. Traditional Filipino hilot, Swedish, and traditional Balinese massages, are also part of the wonderful beauty and relaxation package offered.
The ladies were also given a glimpse of the spa’s impressive facilities, including the Pearl facial room, where beauty-queen level treatments are offered, such as a rejuvenating Y-Lift Treatment with Mask; the anti-aging Essential Balancing Facial with Mask; the BioCollagen Facial; and the Revita Firm-Face with Mask, which focuses on giving an instant lift to the jaw and neckline.
Bluewater Day understood that the Miss World Philippine contestants were demanded to be in their best form when they faced their greatest test during the coronation night, hence the essential diamond peel treatments that the spa offered during the ladies’ visit. The treatments target the elbow and the knees, as well as the non-invasive Revita Shape treatment for firmer, tighter skin on the arms, tummy, and legs.
Body scrubs like the Botanical and Rice Milk scrub, Green Tea scrub, or Olive scrub, were also offered to the contestants, to give them polished and glowing skin. These scrubs help remove dry skin cells and will make skin smoother.
Through the years, Bluewater Day Spa has been a reliable partner of some of the country’s biggest beauty pageants and beauty queens, including Miss World Philippines 2021 Tracy Maureen Perez and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, who both served as Bluewater Day Spa ambassadors.
