Kapuso star Beauty Gonzalez on Monday, May 30, expressed gratitude to GMA Network for giving her projects after projects.
She signed with the Kapuso Network in October 2021, and from there, the actress did Stories from the Heart: Loving Miss Bridgette and I Can See You: AlterNate. Gonzalez will be leading the upcoming drama series The Fake Life alongside Sid Lucero and Ariel Rivera.
At the show’s virtual media conference, the 31-year-old actress felt like she is “floating in the sky” because of the opportunities given to her by GMA Network.
“I’m so thankful with GMA na binibigyan talaga nila ako ng magagandang story. I’m blessed kasi as an actor, gusto mo ‘yung gano’n eh, iba-iba ang makikita ng tao sa’yo.
“You know, I’m happy to do it. Kasi people can recognize you in whatever role na binibigay sa iyo, makaka-relate sa’yo. So sobrang thankful and blessed talaga ako. I’m lost for words kasi haping-hapi talaga ako sobra,” she said.
The actress even changed how she looked to help viewers distinguish her from the other roles she played.
“As an actor, parang, I want to change my look. Para people would recognize me na, ‘Ah! Ito si Brigette, eto si Sheila, and eto naman si Cindy,” she explained.
Despite her flourishing career as a Kapuso, Gonzalez promised her family that she would leave the industry after six (6) years.
“I promised them na you know, after six years, I’m gonna stop, and I want to make the most out of that.”
Her reason is to devote her time to her child.
“I promised my daughter now, na when she turns teenager na, I really have to be back home. I really have to be there and support her in every aspect kapag nagdadalaga siya. Kasi galing ako doon. So gusto kong nandoon ako.”
In the meantime, Gonzalez lets her daughter and her husband bond.
“And at this time, gusto ko na sila ng daddy nila ang mag-bonding talaga. Bumabawi na lang ako kapag nagbabakasyon kami abroad. Wala kaming yaya no’n, kami lang.”
In the remaining years of her career, the actress stressed that she would be giving her all to each and every project given to her.
“Kaya ngayon, ginagalingan ko talaga kasi I want the last few years of my acting career to be the best and I want my daughter [and] my husband to be proud of me.”
Fake Life also includes Tetchie Agbayani, Regina Reyes, Jenny Miller, Bryan Benedict, Carlos Dala, Faye Lorenzo, Saviour Ramos, Shanelle Agustin, and Will Ashley. Adolf Felix Jr directs it.
The series will premiere soon on GMA Network and will be included in its Afternoon Prime.
