Kapuso star Bea Alonzo shared on Friday, June 3, that she will be going back to Madrid, Spain for matters involving the apartment she recently bought.
Earlier on May 14, Alonzo, through her vlog titled “APARTMENT HUNTING IN MADRID!” announced that she visited Spain’s capital to purchase a property.
She managed to choose the one in Chamberi, Madrid because of its design and the environment. The actress also wanted to acquire a “golden visa” as a reason she acquired the apartment.
“Actually, kailangan kong bumalik. Hindi ko alam kung na-absorb nila from my vlog na the reason why I bought the property because I wanted to get a golden visa,” Alonzo explained during the media launch of Century Tuna Superbods.
“Ibig sabihin, automatic resident ka if you buy property sa Spain. So I chose Madrid. So kailangan kong bumalik doon para mag-biometrics.”
Having a Golden Visa would allow the actress along with her immediate family to become permanent residents of the chosen EU country. However, it does not mean that they will become automatic citizens.
“Pero hindi iyon citizenship ha? resident lang,” clarified Alonzo.
The actress will have her biometrics taken so she has to return to Madrid. She will also give an update on the apartment’s interior design soon.
Meanwhile, The Kapuso star becomes Century Tuna for the first time. According to Alonzo, it was a dream come true for her.
“To be honest, I was really excited no’ng nalaman ko na they’re getting me as their new ambassador. Kasi it’s always been my dream to represent Century Tuna.”
She and fellow Kapuso actor Alden Richards will be the face of the canned tuna brand for 2022.
