Singer-actress and known government critic Agot Isidro has fired a shot at former Senator Juan Ponce Enrile.
In a tweet on Wednesday, June 15, the outspoken actress chided Enrile over his warning about possible destabilization plots against the incoming government of Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
She said, why don’t they ask for help from the 31M who voted for Marcos Jr.
“‘Pa-resbak kayo sa 31M,” Agot tweeted.

Agot’s tweet came after Enrile remarked alleged “credible information” about groups of people in the US and the Philippines who are out to give Marcos Jr. trouble in his leadership.
In a facebook post, Enrile warns: “I just picked up what I consider to be credible information that there are groups in America and in the Philippines planning and preparing to cause serious embarrassment and trouble for our newly elected president.
“Caution is the name of the game. You are just starting you[r] travel in troubled waters. Your adversaries have not stopped. To borrow a phrase from someone, right now ‘they are hiding their brightness and biding their time.”
Meanwhile, Enrile has just been chosen as Marcos Jr’s Presidential Legal Counsel.
In a statement on Friday, June 17, incoming PCOO Chief Trixie Angeles confirmed that president-elect Marcos Jr. has designated Enrile to be his Presidential Legal Counsel.
According to Angeles, Enrile (who was out on bail for his plunder case due to his old age and health concerns) has “reaffirmed his commitment to serve the country and ensure the success of the incoming Marcos administration.”
