After being slapped with a Persona Non-Grata resolution by the Quezon City Council, content creator and die-hard Marcos Jr. supporter Darryl Yap is not slowing down and continuing with his offensive.
After impliedly mocking the Quezon City council in his post asking for referrals for a condo in Quezon City, the novice film director has also set his eyes on Kapamilya’s longest-running teleserye FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
In a Facebook post, Yap shared a screenshot of the teleserye, which featured a logo resembling the official logo of Malacanang Palace.
In his post, Yap sarcastically pointed out that he understood why the series hasn’t been declared persona non grata yet, even though the seal they used is very similar to the Malacanang logo. It is because of its oval shape.
“kaya ba hindi napepersona non grata ang serye kahit super hawig sa seal ng Malacañang kasi oblong? shet sana pala di ako nagtriangle!”
Yap was slapped with persona non grata because of disrespecting and defacing the official seal of Quezon City.
On June 8, the Quezon CIty council has approved the resolution filed by Coucilor Ivy Lagman declaring Yap and Ai-ai Delas Alas persona non grata.
It stemmed from Yap’s anti-Joy Belmonte campaign video posted in April, where the Quezon City seal was clearly seen defaced with the text BBM-Sara.
Contrary to the “Malacanang” logo used in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, which Yap is pointing out, it only changed the name to “Palasyo”, a Tagalog translation of Palace.
Yap’s continued social media noise following the resolution may have something to do with his upcoming movie “Maid in Malacanang”.
In one of his previous posts, Yap said that the movie about Marcos’ last few hours before leaving the country in 1986 is set for release in July.
