Sarah Geronimo and Vice Ganda have backed out as judges of Idol Philippines Season 2, according to a vlog of Ogie Diaz aired on Monday, May 23.
Diaz revealed that Vice decided to turn down the offer because Geronimo would not be part of the show. Geronimo is currently on indefinite leave from showbiz following her marriage to Matteo Guidicelli in 2020.
Excited siya to work with Sarah.
Based on the released teaser, the panel of Idol Philippines judges two of the show’s original judges, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and Moira Dela Torre, along with Gary Valenciano and Chito Miranda of Parokya ni Edgar.
