On May 16, TheAsianparent and Team BakuNanay–in collaboration with Sanofi and community partners–launched their Building a BakuNation campaign to fight against vaccine misinformation.
The Build a BakuNation campaign aimed to continue the success of Team BakuNanay and its strong desire to promote children’s and the community’s health by fighting vaccine misinformation.
Through their campaign, parents can learn more about diseases and their impact, share their experiences on vaccine use for their kids, ask questions, and give and receive advice from others.
Among the attendees during the launch were, Carla Perlas – VP for Communications at theAsianparent, Community Manager of Team BakuNanay and Davao-based BakuNanay herself, Ara Casas-Tumuran, mommy influencer and BakuNanay Babzee Ferrer, and Candice Venturanza, Head of Content of theAsianparent.
TheAsianparent and Team BakuNanay presented a video pledge featuring moms from across the Philippines expressing their support for the cause of acquiring 750,000 pledges by the end of 2022.
During the event, Team BakuNanay also announced their partnerships with local parent communities, such as Millennial Moms PH, Lifestyle Moms PH, Love Moms PH, MEMSHIES Mombassadors of Good Vibes, Bunch of Moms & Munchkins, Mars Club PH, Momma’s Universe Club PH, MINT (Mama, Ilaw ng Tahanan), Mommies of Panabo, The Mothers Club, Inspiring Mommas, and Thriving Mom to spread awareness about their campaign.
