Last Monday, May 23, actress Kylie Padilla said that it is a no-brainer to have her be extra careful with her actions now that her dad is a senator.
In the virtual media conference of her upcoming series Bolera, Kylie admitted that she has yet to talk to Robin. Despite them not having a conversation following the latter’s win, the former said her responsibility is to exhibit good conduct.
“Hindi pa kami nakakapag-usap eh. Pero feeling ko automatic na iyon na kailangan, behave muna, hahaha!” said the actress.
However, as a mother of two, Kylie asked Robin if she had to move with them due to the risk of having a senator as a dad.
“Hindi pa kami nakakapag-usap eh. But for sure kapag manalo, tinanong ko siya kung lilipat na ba ako ng bahay. Kasi ‘yung safety ang iniisip ko eh. Pero mukhang okay naman, mukha namang walang problema.”
In the recently held May elections, Robin was the heavy favorite of the public, earning the number one spot during the senatorial race with 26.6 million votes. As a senator, he aims to have a constitutional reform.
Meanwhile, his daughter makes her teleserye come back to Bolera. It tells the story of a Joni (Kylie), a prodigy who wants to dominate the world of billiards.
The series also stars Rayver Cruz and Jak Roberto. Seasoned actors Jaclyn Jose, Joey Marquez, and Gardo Versoza were included in the cast, among others. Bolera is directed by Dominic Zapata.
Catch it beginning May 30, weekdays, at 8:50 p.m., only on GMA Network.
