realme, the PH’s no. 1 smartphone brand for 2021[1], has finally launched to the Philippines the latest addition to its 9 Series: the realme 9i. As the battery powerhouse of the Number Series lineup, the realme 9i is packed with impressive power efficiency features to enable Filipinos to #CaptureMoreChargeLess.
Launched via a special livestream event on May 4, the realme 9i comes as an impressive follow-up to the recently launched realme 9 Pro+ and realme 9 Pro which catered to photography enthusiasts and content creators with its flagship-level camera features. This time around, the brand focused on developing battery, charging, and performance features for overall reliability. With this in mind, the realme 9i comes packed with the power-efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 680, along with a 5,000mAh massive battery, 33W Dart Charge, a 50MP AI Triple Camera, and a 90Hz Ultra-smooth Display, among other notable features.
Flagship-level battery and power efficiency
The realme 9i is equipped with the 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor which delivers excellent results versus the standard 12nm processors usually found in products within the midrange segment. According to data from the realme Lab, this processor consumes 62% less power and affords 46% more performance than the 12nm processor.
The latest 9 Series smartphone is also powered by a massive 5000mAh battery which can last 116.38 hours of audio playback, 48.4 hours of calls, 8.3 hours of gaming, and 20.7 hours for messaging. It can also last up to 41 days on standby. To extend the battery life further, the realme 9i also features five software optimizations: Super Power Saving Mode, App Quick Freeze, Screen Battery Optimization, and Power Saving Mode that help regulate its power consumption for longer usage.
To complement its battery, the realme 9i is also equipped with 33W Dart Charge technology that can charge up the device from 0% to 100% in just 70 minutes. Compared to its predecessor, the realme 8i, the realme 9i is 36% faster in terms of charging.
In terms of display, the realme 9i is packed with a 6.6-inch 90Hz Ultra Smooth display that supports five refresh rates (30Hz, 48Hz, 50Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz) to help conserve energy depending on the user’s activity. This also allows for a smoother scrolling experience and supports higher refresh rate games.
Other features of the realme 9i include a 50MP AI Triple Camera, Dynamic RAM Expansion of up to 5GB, Ultra Fast Side Fingerprint Sensor, and hi-res certified Dual Stereo Speakers. Donning its signature Stereo Prism Design, the realme 9i will come in two colors: Prism Black and Prism Blue.

The realme 9i will be available in a 6GB+128GB variant for only P11,990 SRP starting May 5. As an early-bird offer exclusively via the realme Official Store on Shopee, the realme 9i 6GB+128GB will be available for P1,200 OFF (P10,790) from May 5 to 7. The realme 9i will also be available in all realme official stores and partner dealers nationwide starting May 5.
