On Friday, April 29, comedienne Pokwang said that all is good with her and actor DJ Durano after the latter’s “offensive” statement.
Pokwang tweeted about the impending demise of twitter trolls after billionaire businessman Elon Musk bought the social media site for $44 billion.
Kapuso director Rado Peru lambasted Pokwang as he reacted to her tweet.
In his facebook post, he claimed that the comedienne tagged him as one of the trolls.
Durano then commented that Pokwang only had a career because of ABS-CBN.
“Feeling sikat s’ya, ‘di naman,” said the actor.
The comedienne did not back down as she responded to Rado and Durano.
She admitted in an interview that she was hurt by what Durano have said toward her.
Pokwang also took offense to Peru’s statement.
So yung reaksyon lang siguro.”
The comedienne then revealed that Durano apologized to her through a direct message.
“Although nag-sorry naman siya. Nag-sorry naman siya. Sincere naman ang paghingi ng sorry.”
She continued, “Nag-direct message kasi ako. Yung masakit. Of all people na makita ko yung ganoong reaksyon niya. Pero in fairness naman to him, nag-sorry naman—nag-apologize naman.”
Pokwang explained further that she already moved on from the issue.
“Hindi ka naman dapat mabuhay sa ganyan. Nag-sorry na ‘di ba? Aarte ka pa? Tama na, move on.”
She added that there is no point in arguing with one another. When election ends, they will all return to their respective lives.
“Again, at the end of the day, kung sino man ang maupo, back to normal tayo.
May kanya-kanya tayo—again—kanya-kanya tayo.”
On the other hand, the TV director, has yet to offer his apology to Pokwang.
The comedienne is also the newest endorser of Klio, a leading local manufacturer in the plastic food storage industry.
